61 radiator support

While tearing appart my front suspention I noticed the radiator support is bolted straight to the frame.
Is this correct or should there be some body mount bushings in there? Sorry if this is a dumb question the hardware is new as this truck has been appart before. It looks as though they did some repair work and there is extra thick metal where it meets the frame, so I had to ask.

Yes,there should be pads inbetween,Approx. 1"x2"x1/4"
May have been left out due to alignment issues?

Re: 61 radiator support

So is it just a piece of rubber? I would think it would make terrible noise without it in there. Every bump would get transfered right to the sheet metal wouldnt it? I may have to do something about this. Although the air ride in the future may make it ok. Tell me what you think.
