I'm seeing Red
Red as in the color I think I want. It has been a long time getting to this point. Got the truck all apart, rebuilt the frame got a new crate 350, AC power steering etc etc etc.
Now comes the paint. Currently it is Light blue, but I'm seeing it in RED. I plan on changing the stance slightly from stock, probably with springs not much maybe 2"or so front and rear just enough to get a slight rake. Haven't settled on tire size as yet. Looking at rims/tires after paint. Could you guys post some pictures of your RED trucks please. Mine is a long bed fleet side . You go it...it is stock ... other than wheels. Thanks for your help

Re: I'm seeing Red
here are a few shots of mine. the top one is the most accurate. the bottom two were in the middle of the afternoon on a sunny day, so it looks more orange than it really is.
the color is Monza Red and was used on 69 and 70 vettes.

Re: I'm seeing Red
Greasemonkey,
Yeah, the wiper motor went out so it was a good excuse to tear the dash apart and paint it... doesn't look quite as good as the pics in person, but better than gold |
