Help with tilt wheel

Someone is offeraing me a tilt wheel that he says came out of a 72 C20. The problem is I cannot verify that. It is a tilt, and the tilt seems to be tight, but it was not an automatic. Did our years have a tilt, with floor shift? Can a non auto tilt be modified by changing the collars to make it an auto tilt. (I.E. using my non tilt auto column parts to modify the other column.)

If this does not work out for me, I will have a $75, non auto, tilt column for sale.

Yes, a non-auto tilt was possible. As far as parts interchanging, I don't think they will, but I could be wrong. Either way, if it is a 67-72 non-auto tilt, that's a good deal.

Very interetsed in a non-auto tilt. Got lots of van ones if you need one of those that are automatic tilts.

The non auto tilt column is more rare i belive. And more money If you were to buy a rebuilt one. About $100 or so more usually.
