last week ends project

Just a word to the wise...Never ever try to do a window seal and glass replacement without help...or at least knowing what your doing...I spent the week pulling out the old glass and seal and sanding and cleaning up the window lip and re seam sealing ,and repairing a hole in the cowl. Order up some single stage paint paint in a bomb sprayed her up ...put her in on Sunday , 2hrs later and 3 beers(after i was done) later ,the results. Name: Shawns 018.jpg

I know that drill well. I started on my own and ended up with my daughter and her boyfriend helping me. Then I took them with me to install it plus the guy who painted it. It turned out great like yours and we didn't break anything.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Nice work. I'm going to be heading down this road soon. The Alexander Keiths helps line things up.

Re: last week ends project

I hate to even say this, you might cringe...i know i did. I couldn't get the corners to seat the trim...I knew the window needed to come up just bit..took a paint stir stick and bent and formed it to the contour of the trim lifted the seal with a bondo paddle squirted some soapy water around the whole seal and then CAREFULLY tapped the lower trim to raise the the glass and knock the trim in..
