Window channel queston

Question....... I have a 48 - 3 window truck and I have decided to go with smooth side window glass. By smooth I mean I removed the metal frame around the glass.

For anyone that has done the same, what did you do for channel felt? All of it that I have seen is made wider for the glass with the metal frame.

I have contacted steel rubber, but so far they have not be too much help. I know other people have done the same, so help a brother out.

Thanks
Marc
