This was made by KMA in 1999, this is like the second one they ever built for a first gen K5. They have changed the design over the years. I have modified the mounts and added gussets to make it even stronger.

How does that winch mount to the frame? Does it use the actual Ramsey mounting system?

Bolts up with nice brackets not like some cobbled up ones that i have seen on other trucks so I am asuming that they are what came with the winch and specific for this application.

Something like this one? These are original Ramsey mounts for the winch. You could either use the original bumper or get a heavy duty one which looked a lot like yours.

All these are look great!! so many options.. I really like VT's bumper, hidden yet functional... what did you use to mount the winch to the frame? Just reinforce the bumper or..????

Built it to fit & mount between the frame rails and then built another bumper behind it out of 1.75 DOM.

Factory bumber still mounts up and can be removed the same as original.

Not that you are close enough, but on criagslist (in auto parts) in lincoln nebraska someone is selling a old warn bumper with the winch. He has been trying to sell the bumper for a while, and is now including the winch he used to have on it. A friend/board member bought the original lockouts from the same truck.
