Finally Got it back

******Well I finally got the pics posted Below****** Well I finally got my truck back, it has been up at my father-inlaws shop for the better part of a month. The rear end has been fitted with an Auburn Pro Series Posi unit, with 3.73 R&P. Got the Rewarder Headers on, and did a Custom 2 1/2" Aluminum Exhaust Running Flowmaster 40's. I will try and get some pics posted this weekend. I used these pics as a template for the exhaust build. I ended mine just before the rear axle.

Looks GREAT Derek. Hadn't heard anything on your build in a while. Glad to see it's still going.

Re: Finally Got it back

Thanks Guys, the bed is coming along, it is still in primer as the rear diff, headers and exhaust needed to be completed first. I have a new Stainless steel gas tank for the rear that needs to be fitted yet. All of this has taken priority over the completion of the bed. Joe is right, and thanks step65 for the compliment on the OC anal way I keep it clean. Those pics are of a custom 60' that the owner Kevin, sent me to use as a template for the exhaust, Mine is Identical (and I will Post Pics) except mine terminates just before the rear axle.

The custom Exhaust guy my father-in law sent me to matched it bend for bend from the pictures posted here. Pics will be up tommorrow

Re: Finally Got it back

Here is some more of them, The Engine Bay is the next (next summer) project which will include a New Motor, Radiator, all the BLING etc. Momma only allows one portion of the project a year, so this summer it was (Exhaust, Rear End and Gas Tank)

Re: Finally Got it back

And the last of them, I know they look like the pipes hang really low, but I am running a static drop, so I wont be laying frame or rockers, and I could only tuck them just so tight, with the 60-62 X-frame.

Re: Finally Got it back

Thanks Dino, I gave the Stepside bed away, I have a short fleet bedd in primer awaiting these other things to be finished before putting it on.

The tank is a custom unit from Ricks Hot Rods in El Paso TX (http://www.rickshotrodshop.com/truck.htm)

Re: Finally Got it back

Hey JCHAV62! thanks for the encourgement, sometimes I want it all to be finished, but like so many know, time and money (and the little lady) regulate the flow. Hope all is well in the North.
