Hey from Alabama!
How's it going folks,
My name's Dave and I'm from right outside Montgomery, Alabama. I got a 65 SWB Stepside a couple weeks ago from a buddy of mine. 350 V8 and a 350 Auto trans in it right now. This is my first attempt at resto-modding any sort of vehicle. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person, so I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions to ask you guys!

Welcome! Fairly local...half-way between B'ham and the gump. I'm a Chilton county Peach. LOL!! Husband and son are workin' on a '67 K10. I think they've given up on the idea that it'll be ready by June of '09. But it keeps them out of trouble for the most part.
There's a few other 'bama folks here. Shane, for one, is a wealth of information. If you're gonna be around, there will be a mini show in Montevallo on the 6th called Cars by the Creek.
