yet again another rear tire fitment issue..

i have a narrowed ford 9 in my truck and was wandering about what is the minimum clearance between frame and drag tire and fender and tire in the back. i was thinking a half of an inch but maybe this is to close. this is a strip, street truck with emphasis on strip. please let me no what you guys are runing.. thanks andrew..

I have a 9" in my '67. I am running 29x 15.5 x 15 Hoosiers on 12" Welds and have right at 1" all around. I prefer to not have less than 1".
