It was a real option. Someone will probably post pics of the brochure.

Re: could this be part of the ultra rare corvette option

1. owning a rabbit pickup adds a minimum of 35 years to your natural age.

2. belonging to the disc brake club AND the drum brake club at the same time disqualifies you from 'guru' status.

3. didn't you just post some pictures of models?

Re: could this be part of the ultra rare corvette option

*ahem

1. I didn't know you were 15 when I used adult humor.

2. Now that I DO know you're 15... I'm pleased as punch that "we" own 3 vehicles. I'm mocking the fact that you belong to multiple & seemingly contradictory clubs on a board centered around a vehicle that "you" neither own, nor have a good working knowledge of. Much less, it was just another tease.

3. "I THINK" does not mean that you are not held accountable for what comes out of your mouth next.

If I seem to be coming off hard on 3rd St... I think that smelly stuff runs down hill... I'm 28. I got teased when I was a young guy coming up in a man's world. I expect to be able to pass the torch.

As long as it's done in fun. For it to be fun "both" of you have to be smiling about the comment...

Re: could this be part of the ultra rare corvette option

and this is why;Rare, does not always mean desirible.
In 82 - 84, GM put the 2.5 iron duke inline 4 in the camaro and firebird. It was somewhat common, but not many are still around these days. So, that could be called rare.
But I don't think I know ANYONE... who would want one... let alone, pay top dollar for it.
Besides... lats face it... that thing, while being real neat... is ugly.

the USPS buys them up all day long too. Runners, rebuildable cores... they are worth more than a roller 350 around here.
Pretty sad huh?

I have a sleeper if anyone wants to build a "rolling thunder" truck. I will even throw in that model too.

Sleeper, $100 bucks.
