Classic Industries

On the whole, what are everyones thoughts about Classic Industries? Their selection seems pretty unbeatable. Discuss.

Re: Classic Industries

Good quality... rebuilding a '78 Camaro from their parts, plus my '57 chevy SWB stepper. Little slow on delivery but I'm in po-dunk Kentucky too!

Re: Classic Industries

I LOVE THEM I BOUGHT MY GIRLFRIENDS FENDER FROM THEM AND I BOUGHT A ROOF, TAILLIGHT PANEL, QUARTERS AND BUMPERS FOR MY 67 CAMARO, BUT I'M ONLY 45 MINUTES AWAY FROM THEM SO SHIPPING IS GAS MONEY WHICH IS USUALLY CHEAPER WHEN GAS PRICES ARE DOWN.

Re: Classic Industries

They were Chevy Duty at one time. I live about two hours from them, so I usually just buy my parts from them when I travel to Kansas City.

Re: Classic Industries

Classic Industries was never Chevy Duty, Chevy Duty is now called something else...but it isn't Classic Industries.

not Classic Industries.

gearhead1968, I believe you are referring to Classic Parts,
it is a bit farther than 2 hours to Cali from Mo

Re: Classic Industries

1.2 miles from my house. About 30% over-priced on most items, but they back up everything they say. Avoid the showroom if you can - long waits and only semi-knowledgeable counter personnel.

The tools they sell are nearly junk - go to a professional tool source if you’re buying something that is going to stay in your tool box. They also gouge you on handling and shipping charges. Wanted to avoid their lame ‘Will-Call’ scene last week and had them ship two items out UPS: 1 pound = $12.85 to pull the order, put it in a tiny box and label it.
