Engine help!

Hey everyone,

I was thinking of buying a crate motor of Jegs or Summit. The thing is, I want a motor that i can blow the door's off my buddy's cars/trucks but im in a limited budget . So im deciding to build one, i was just wondering if someone could help me choose out parts to build a 360-400hp(or more ) motor but on a limited budget of 3000! (Preferably building a 350)

Re: Engine help!

Just a suggestion....post this in the 'Engine and Drivetrain' forum, you'll get a better response over there. Also look in the desktop dyno sticky in Engine and drivetrain forum. Doing a search on this forum should give you some ideas.

Building a 360-400hp 350 is might be doable for $3000, but it depends on how much of the work you can do yourself.

Re: Engine help!

There is more to it than just engine to go fast.

Transmission and gear ratio and getting it to hook up.

There's fast and getting to fast, fast.
