'89 Rear A/C Blower Switch

I need to replace the rear a/c blower switch(rocker type - LO & HI) on my '89 suburban and just wondering is there any place cheaper than the dealer to buy it? Thanks very much for any help.

Re: '89 Rear A/C Blower Switch

I work in the parts dept for the local GM dealership up here. I'll check it out tomorrow and see what it goes for and if there is an ACDELCO part number for it as well. Will let you know tomorrow night. Hell I may even be able to snag it for ya and sell it to you at my cost provided it's still available of course.

Re: '89 Rear A/C Blower Switch

The rear Auxilary A.C. blower moter switch is still availible from G.M. The suggested retail price for it is $22.00 & change. Wholesale suggested price is about $18.00
I did however forget to bring home the part number and listings of dealerships that showed to have them in stock. I do apologize for that and will have them with me tomorrow night

TEAGUE CHEVROLET-BUICK in MABANK, Texas & CHUCK NASH CHEVROLET-OLDS-BUICK in SAN MARCOS,TEXAS both show to have the switch in stock.
Yhe part number for it is 14040842

Also 3 warehouses show to have plenty of them in stock as well.

Re: '89 Rear A/C Blower Switch

Thanks very much for all the replies. I just wired in a heavy duty toggle switch that I had on hand. It only runs the rear motor on high, but that's okay, that's what we use most of the time anyway.
