Straight truck! DON"T JUNK THOSE WHEELS!! Those jelly bean mags are getting harder and harder to find, especially in 8 lug. If I had an 8 lug to put them on, I would buy them from you...

Well were in Ca are you . My friend has a set from an 89 burb sitting in his drivway with tires on them even and they are 16" and not 16.5 so tires are cheaper. They are in San Francisco.

Re: Just Picked Up This Gem

From your pics those mags look to be a nice width. Most of the ones you see in 8 lugs are at least 10 inches wide. A lot of people prefer ones that are a bit narrower.

Also I dig that air con unit...very cool looking. Does it work?

Great find! The A/C console is really neat - lots of style.

Re: Just Picked Up This Gem

Let us know about the mags your taking off. Are they 16.5 wheels? They look to be 8.25 x 16.5 wheels which are used for 10.00 x 16.5 tires, am I correct?

i think its the 292 6 banger. that will change. the 2nd tank is behind the cab in front of the wheel well under the bed driver side. the 3rd tank is in the same position on pass side of truck.
3 tanks aboard that bad boy. for now anyways.

Wow! If you filled that truck up with gas it would cost a small fortune. It's a cool option though.

Re: Just Picked Up This Gem

those 292's make good power, and they make alot of after market parts for them. they make alot of torque.

We wanna see pictures of the truck with the steel wheels when you get to it. It was cool meeting you and I hope you had a good time in the City where ever you two went.

Thanks again for the wheels!!!! I just need to get off my lazy ass and break them down and paint them. Have not decieded what color yet. Orange, Green or Red. Prob gona be red. We didn't stick around San Fran. We headed straight to Santa Cruz and stayed the night and hung out on the boardwalk.

Santa Cruz was a good choice.
