I have a edelbrock carburator w/manual choke for sale. Its a 1405 series barely used. Only used it for 2 months on my 70 chevy 350 pickup. Like new still. Ill let it go for $180 plus the shipping. 48 USA states only!!

why are you selling it is it broke on any of the corners,like from over tightening.and do you take paypal.is there anything wrong with it at all???

Nothing is wrong with it at all!! It's mint!! The reason im selling it is because I installed the original carb back into my truck with the stock air cleaner. Just wanted everything original again. But the edelbrock is like brand new still. I take paypal! Thanks, Luis.

what cfm is this and what is different from the 1406?

If i recall correctly both are 600 CFM and the only diff is the 1406 has electric choke. However, you can buy the electric choke kit from jegs/summit and adapt to the 1405

FYI, the 1405 has different boosters and jetting than the 1406. But, yes Edelbrock makes an electric choke kit for the 1405. It's P/N 1478.

It's P/N 1478. __________________ Mike 1969 C10 LWB -- owned for 35 years. 350/TH350, 3.08 posi, 1st Gen Vintage Air, AAW wiring harness, 5-lug conversion, 1985 spindles and brakes. 1982 C10 SWB -- sold 1981 C10 Silverado LWB -- sold, but wish I still had it! 1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 24 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined.
