Don't all be jealous at once... vette option and PO mods
Here is the ultra RARE corvette hump. It's slotted longitudinally for under body aerodynamic lift, creating lift, thereby reducing the frictional drag of the tires on the road!
 And here is a nice picture of what was under the nice (double) insulated carpet. I think it does a great job of showing how common auto carpet and pads can cancell out the noise of rust holes thru the cab floor!  Here's one of my engine bay, so you don't think i'm completely depressed today  It's a vette 327 .30 over and 11:1 compression, 202 fuelie heads with 64 chambers, performer intake, BN Edel #1406 carb, Proform water pump, and ready for this evenings install of MSD dizzy + 6AL ignition W/ Blaster 2 coil. This week I'll be mocking up brackets to mount my new PowerMaster 58761 alternator, Installing the FAL Mojave heater system, and looking for a decent high hump  have a fan-frickin-tastic weekend, y'all! Cheers, Ian *edit!* Oh yeah... forgot to mention that the #1406 I just installed replaced a manual choked #1404!!! In case you don't know what a 1404 is... it's a 500cfm performance carb... for a 305! WTF was the PO thinking?!?!?
