Original wiring question
I have the original wiring for the Blazer I am restoring and it is OK. I do want to clean it well and redo the black wrap as it is shot. I want to know if you guys would just use some good 3M black electricians tape for the wrap as it looks ok to me. Please let me know soon as I am getting ready to rumble!

the wrap is more forgiving IF you need to get into that harnes down the road. I think it is a bit easier also, if you start wraping and see you need to back up it will let you with out looking like a fly stuck in honey.

My experience is that after a while the glue on the electrical tape softens from the heat and turns into a sticky mess, plus it starts coming apart. I suppose that is why the original wrap is only glued on each end, or usually just tucked in between the wires. If you're not doing a show restoration I would just use the newer flex conduit stuff.... LockDoc
