Chrome pullies??

Im looking at getting some pullies for my motor. What i want is chrome alt fan, alt pulley, ps pulley, waterpump and crank.

I wanted to go chrome because its easier to clean and keep clean, but i cant seem to find a FULL set of anything... I want to keep the vbelt setup also. How much should i look at spending... Is 200 bucks not enough to get a FULL set of chrome or aluminum???

Also, its a 81 454. PS, alt, water, crank.... Any info or help? I was on summit but i dont really know whats going to fit.. Dont want to order twice.

Re: Chrome pullies??

If you get chrome pullies you need to get good ones if you buy the cheaper pullies they are only coated enought to make them chrome and they will rust after a few years of use, Mine did on my sbc so now I'm going to send them to be chromed right. Thoses march pullies are aluminum so they will requier more maintenence than chrome but they won't rust and if they get dull you simply polish them back to a shine.

Re: Chrome pullies??

Actually, March pullies are clear powdered coated and require almost no mantenence. I have used them before.
