Master Cylinder Storage?

I have an 84 suburban donor vehicle for my five lug disk brake conversion. Currently I don't have the time to re-install all the parts to my truck, planning for this winter.

So, if I put the master cylinder/proportioning valve in a large plastic bag and tie it off and then maybe double bag it two more times will it be ok?

Any recommendations?

Re: Master Cylinder Storage?

Cap off the ends of the hoses running out of it and leave some brake fluid in there.

And put it in a big ziplock, if you can. Squeeze all the air out of it. Air holds moisture, and brake fluid absorbs water.
