Drop spindles that use drums?

Are there any drop spindles that use the stock drums??? If not that sure makes lowering a more expensive ordeal...

Re: Drop spindles that use drums?

Gmc , I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is no . The problem is the pivot bolt where the top of the brake shoes anchor . It screws into the spindle itself and sets the location of all the brake components. I could be wrong , maybe some one else can add to the discussion ?

I have asked this question before also and everyone says no. I bought a 87 front crossmember with discs then bought the spindles for it.
