1/2 lift kit onto 3/4 ton Suburban
Does anyone know if a Fabtech 1/2 ton lift/long travel kit can be bolted on to a 3/4 ton Suburban? I have an '87 3/4 ton Burban that I would like to lift but I can't find anyone that makes kits for these tanks. I would like to keep my 3/4 ton spindles but change everything else especially the coil spring. Right now it has (what the previous owner told me) a 3" lift coil (unknown brand) but the ride is real rough. If anyone knows if this can be done please let me know.

The front might work just fine, but I'm pretty sure the leaf springs are wider.

Yeah I wasn't to worried about the rear suspension. I just want to make sure I can do the front with the 1/2 ton suspension. Do you think I can still keep my 3/4 ton spindles? I really would like to keep the same wheels I have now.

You might have to mix and match the parts. I "think" the ball joints and tie rod ends are different, but not sure on 1/2 vs 3/4. I know the 1 tons are larger.
