Aftermarket Air Conditioning

What kit is the best for aftermarket AC? I have heard good things about Vintage Air...??? My firewall is completely shaven now, so i wont be able to use the SureFit kit because it has the black panel that is supposed to cover the heater holes... Does anyone know if this panel can be trimmed or substituted for a 4 hole bulkhead?

Yes, you can get a different bulkhead from them. Do not use anything but a Vintage Air kit, They are great!!!! The best in the industry

Re: Aftermarket Air Conditioning

My shop has installed several kits from CLASSIC AUTO AIR . They are located in Tampa florida. Yes you can use theirs or vintage's kits. tell them when you order, and they will sell you a different bulkhead ( firewall ) connector, and you will be cool before you know it

Re: Aftermarket Air Conditioning

I have a vintage air in my firebird, I believe it was the only aftermarket kit at the time. I'm happy with it.
I've also heard good things about HotRod air? Don't know if they have anything for trucks tho.
