rust removal
what are you guys using to remove surface rust on sheet metal. So far I have been using a 3m bristle disk and then navel jelly but it is a slow process. I got some rust remover from the swapmeet but I cant feasably submerse my whole cab in it.

Re: rust removal
I know small parts, if you soak em in Malt vinegar and some water, let em sit a few days. BAM perfect.
Also try, http://nomorerust.com/ and http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...ORY&itemID=372

Re: rust removal
Hopefully it's not like my 68 vw bug and every time I sand a spot to get ready for primer I get a new rust hole. Try looking at eastwoodco.com, they have alot of good products. Good luck and don't to much.

Re: rust removal
i'm a big fan of sandblasting cabs cheap and effective and when done correctly leaves a great surface for the paint to stick to

Re: rust removal
we have a sand blaster at work that I was thinking of bringing home to do the sm spots. I bought a gravity feed spot blaster from harbor freight but it a piece of crap.
