Re: Whear is the best place to buy a aftermarket a/c.

I just got my A/C setup from Old Air. I haven't installed it.

I have a compressor and condenser from a 00 Trans Am that I'll be using. So they took that out of the kit. For the fitting, I have the block/hoses that go on the back of the compressor that hopefully I'll be able to use. Otherwise they suggested looking at a place called "DocsBlocks" I believe....probably just google them.

Very happy with my vintage air kit. Bought directly from them. No tax, just had to pay shipping

Talking Re: Whear is the best place to buy a aftermarket a/c.

I've been running a Vintage Air system for four years now on my 72. Used a shur fit kit and it installed easy, runs as cold as you want to get with no problems at all. When I went from headers to rams horns they had the brackets for the conversion with no sweat. I couldn't be happier with them. I bought mine for $1000 no tax and free shipping. But that was 4 years ago. thedetailzone.com
