James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
I sent an email to benagail57 asking if she was related to James Blanton. This was her reply. It is sad we have people in our hobby who is as dishonest as James and will go to the extremes that he does to make $$$.
I'm not related to him, but I did make the BIG mistake of selling parts for him, turning over the money and then trusting that he would be shipping out the parts. I'm working with ebay to try and resolve this and I hope you are not one of the people that have not recieved a part. If so please file a dispute with ebay and you'll just be added to the long list of people that I'm just now finding out did not get their parts. He has turned on me and will not provide me with shipping information so that I can respond to some of these disputes. I feel like a total idiot that I ever fell for this and now I'm the one that gets left holding the bag of s**t.- benagail57

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
It is discusting the amount of stories I hear everyday of people ripping people off.....
Main reason I ONLY use "American Express" and I much rather spend more buying new from dependale sellers and of course if there is an issue you can always dispute the charge. I have sold a bunch of parts in forums from automotive to harley parts I always make 100% sure that I follow thru all the way till the time the buyer receives the parts. I am an extremist about doing the right thing all the time. Almost always whatever I sell I am looking to help someone that is on a budget and it is parts that come off my vehicles that are not going back on because I am upgrading.

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
What happened to the good old days and they were not long ago. When I was in school in the 80's we had a field about two miles from the high school and when someone had a problem with someone else, somebody got a good old southern style a-- kicking. That is what he needs, there are enough Texas guys on the board. Yall go get him and bust him up a little.

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
I believe that those who burn bridges will some day be standing on the bridge when it burns. 99.9 %...well maybe 99% of those in this hobby are honest and forth right people and it's people like James the Less that cause the bad reputation. I guess when all is said and done...I want to be everything that James the Less is not!!

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
James is what is wrong with this hobby at times I can't count the times I have seen something for sale in Texas and passed on it just because I don't want to take the chance it is him. There should be some way to stop him other than stringing him up by his own intestines.

Don't forget our other Texas pal. Carlos the liar Bernal. It has been one year now since I sent him a money order for $50.

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
Here is an additional message about James from benagail57...
He told me the other day, that he had 6 other people selling parts for him like this. I wish I had a way to get the word out, so no one else has to go through this like I am. Everything went along fine for about a month or so and then I started getting all the emails/phone calls from people who had not received their parts. I'm just at a loss how I should deal with this. No one has ever put me in this kind of position before. benagail57

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
I have had dealings with james and havent had anything go bad. I only live a short distance from him. Havent seen or talked to him in a while, but I will try to make a point to see him soon and find out what is going on with everything. These deals are none of my business, but I hate for things to happen, people talk either good or bad, and not get things settled. We all need to get back to our projects instead of all this other crap.

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
Obviously the e-mails are not from "James the Douche Bag Blanton" due to the fact that the quoted e-mails from benagail57 are way to literate to be other than legitimate, otherwise the "Douche Bag" got some one to spell for him.

Re: James Blanton--there is no end to his deeds
I think ol James is selling out.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pts/817726501.html or maybe now he's going to rip people off on a bigger scale. I mean you can make 2 or 3 hundred on parts, but make $25k by a bad deal on the whole bussiness maybe 2 or 3 times, nows your making money.
