Re: Violated
All I have sold so far is the front clip, We are stripping the 72 2wd frame this
weekend for blasting and paint. Then in 2 months were swapping the engine and body over to the 2wd frame and maybe installing the newer tranny EDIT: Oh yeh we have to change out the pulley system also from LWP over to SWP so that pretty aluminum Miloden? H20 Pump will be useless to me

Re: Violated
Well it's no secret that us TN folks Luv to "Meet and Eat" so tomorrow I will
be in East TN with my frame at Woodridge's place. He has a rack / air tools. We are going to disassemble the whole frame down to bare rails. Next month I will have it blasted and painted. Then I hope to assemble most of it myself in my newly aquired used shop. (I bought out my neighbor Wednesday) Then on 11/1 (My B-day) we are having another "Meet and Eat" at my place and hope to pull the engine, reset her on the 2wd frame, then pull the body and do the same. Then I will only lack Paint, Tranny, (Woody is building it) the custom driveshaft, and then Wheels and tires. (I have most of the parts 4 the swap already including the New 67/68 Cowl hood and nose conversion. EDIT: If some of you are wondering why I don't have a build thread yet it's because things have changed so much. I am stock piling pictures for one

Re: Violated
Well we are doing a gear change to the 2wd frame, so I guess I am
Tossing the 3.08 gear, keeping the factory posi, and putting in a 3.42 I have had on the shelf for a few months that I scored off of Evil Bay I figure with the 425 hp, 700r4, and a 3.42 posi she should drive ok

Re: Violated
Sounds like a great plan can't wait to see it come to life. If you are switchiing to a SWP then you wouldn't need thepretty crank pully either

Re: Violated
Ran into a small snag over the weekend. Frame is bare, but some of the parts didn't
look as good as we had hoped for. On the + side the rear was a factory posi. Might not be a roller on my B-day, but we should have the motor in and body pulled off of "GQ" and on standby for when I am ready for it. All in all I am very happy so far

Re: Violated
We shall see, I won't believe it till it's payed for. I am
gonna lose money on her and IMHO someone is gonna get a hell of a deal. But in the end by having just one I think I can get her further along than it just sitt'n in my garage for the last 3 years lying in wait mode

Re: Violated
Have my NEW Moser axles, master overhaul kit, and axle
bearing kit coming. Also found a local place that recently started doing PC. So the frame is not getting painted in favor of the PC job. Going gloss black on the frame rails, rear axle housing, and front crossmember. (All else new)
