McGaughy spindles

I'm looking at buying a pair of McGaughys dropped spindles for my 60. Anybody know what calipers and rotors they use? I would like to buy my stuff at the local pick and pull.

Re: McGaughy spindles

I believe they're based off of post-72 GM design which would mean 73-87 except for the Lt. Duty option from 81-87. Regular/HD rotors are 1.25"; the light duty rotors are 1.00" so there is a difference.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

You have to use the 1.25in ones for these spindles otherwise they don't work. We sell and install their spindles and we learned the hard way.
