You know it's bad when you can't even afford a steal when it comes to parts for a truck. I just found this 64 for $50obo. no motor, trans, or front fenders. But everything else is there. I really use the doors and bed as they are in great shape. My problem is that I don't even have enough cash to negotiate with and even if I did I couldnt haul the truck home. This really sucks. In Texas all I would have had to do is call a buddy for help. Here, I got no one to call. I don't even really have anyone to sit around with and talk trucks or cars or what ever. All I ever do is go to work, come home. And I'm still broke with no one to hang out with every once in a while. Sorry for the depressing post but I had to get it out some how.

Sorry to hear that. Never fun without anyone to BS w/. But atleast it can only get better from hear, and believe me, I'm sure it will. Atleast the forum's still here to bs w/ bout the truck, aint the same, but better than nothin is how I look at it.

Mine is even worse... I found a gmc that is the exact same color as my 65 chev-same patina even-with a perfect hood and bed, $300.00, and 6 hours away.
then 2 1960's for $500.00 for both , one runs.. 2 hours away..
and there is more .. today in the paper a 64 4wd-$500.00'
and yesterday a 64 283 short step bbw runs- $500.00 - 1/2 hour away.......
I am racking my brain trying to figure out how to get some of these... I want them all!....don't really need them all, but thats not the point!
