Fuel Injector Cleaner
My dad has a whole box full of 12 oz. bottles of Fuel Injector Cleaner. He uses it on the Dodges. Thought about putting a bottle in the next time I feel up. Would it hurt my carb at all? Any benefit? Would it work like the carb cleaners do?

I would have thought the only difference is marketing! You're cleaning the same stuff out of the same engine. Perhaps people with injection engines will pay more than us mortals with carbs!

Dump it in, it'll probably help clean youe jets a little, and as stated before...it sure can't hurt.
I think the injector stuff is a slightly diluted mixture with all of the sensitive sensors on the new OBD2 engines and all. |
