Drive Shaft Question

Anyone evey had a drive shaft that just did not want the yolk to slide on the shaft?? Whats the best grease to use to make this easier??

I'd make absolutely sure that there wasn't anything else preventing it from sliding in first. If it's the original yoke, check for a damged spline or that it's lined up properly. If it's a different one check for mismatch parts.

The yoke is supposed to slide in and out as the truck rear wheels go up and down and if it doesn't move freely, you could damge rubber mounts and/or feel the vibrations.

Does it have and index spline? (spline that is twice as wide as the others that keeps yoke from being installed in position other than correct position)
