Post forgot which year

When did the parking brake move to the floor? Was it 1970?

Thanks, Brian

Thumbs up

Thanks Andy, now if you were going to replace a cab and wanted to keep the hand operated parking brake would you limit your search to '67 or '68 cabs?

That would be much easier than modifying the later style, yes.
However, it'll reduce the # of cabs out there that you'll find.
It's a loose loose situation.

beilieve it, youre in the rust rot belt also,o i am thinking maybe that it owuld actually be easier to install 67 68 brake assembly in a 69-up cab than the other way around, we need to do some more investigating and do some trial error work on this, i may be the guinea pig regarding this when the 71 is driveable, i already know im not keeping that retarded floor style brake in it, and i have a mint 67 68 assembly i could use,.,. so hmmm
