looking for a decent 47-53 truck.
I'm having a hard time finding a decent shape 47-53 truck. I'm VERY tempted to buy the one listed in the link. My father who happens to live in TN is going to look at it tomorrow to let me know what he thinks before i say yes or no.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=301877 What do you guys think? It doesn't have a bed, hood, & the rust is kinda bad. But he is selling it with a rolling S10 long bed frame & S10 4x4 rear end. I'm worried about how hard it its going to be to find a hood/bed. how much would i be looking to spend on one? I'm just wondering what advice you guys have to give when looking for a body to start with. Any help is appreciated! |

Re: looking for a decent 47-53 truck.
Is there any difference in the 1/2 & 3/4 ton bodies other than the longer beds?
