Believe it or not i still have it.i have had two buyers and neither one have come through.The high bidder on ebay just didn't have the money.
Am i wrong or is this truck worth $2500 or not.

Its worth it.........stuff just isnt moving at the moment and a lot of Ebay buyers are a JOKE.

Be patient clean67... with 72freak. It is well worth the $$$ but things are slow and the $$$ is being held close to the pocket. It will sell but be patient. That's a nicely optioned truck. Good Luck.

It's worth it & probably then some.
Money (discretionary income, as the financial analysts call it) is real tight right now.

It is well worth it. Unfortunately it may be more of a location problem than anything else. I would have loved to have had that thing as the platform for my restoration.

nothing is selling. i dam near had to give a way a chopper. 36k bike for 14,500 and it still too 5 months to sell.

i have several other things for sale as well, same deal, people just are not buying.

I would give you that if I was back in Virginia. I have 10 months to go and it should be gone by then. If not, it looks like a good father/son project for my 12 year old.

those 67, 68 hubcaps remind me of nipples. I know a guy up the road whos havent a hard time selling a clean 72 cheyenne LWB too. Things are just tight.

It`s the poor economy(not a recession

).Selling is tough.I`m running into it with my carpentry business.Everybody still "wants",they just don`t want to pay money.Wait long enough,maybe someone from China will buy it.

Has to be a timing/location problem.... cause if everything listed on that spid is still with the truck and if it were listed locally, I'd be going to look at another truck.

nothing is selling out here in utah either. i had to drop the price of my motor home just to get rid of it.. even with a rebuilt motor in it, i had to go less than half of what it was worth to get rid of it... that and everybody crying over the price of gas, nobody is wantign a v8.. personaly i would rather have your truck than the import im driving now.. and soon i hope to pick up another v8, then i think i burn the import car im driveing..lol if its as clean as the pics look, id pay that for it. down side it would cost me half or more of that just to get it home..

I'd buy it just for the parts and pieces, but VA is a long ways from AZ!! I think $2500 is a good price, but as other's have said $$$ is tight everywhere. Good Luck, bring it to AZ and I could help ya!

Amen to that SpecialK! I'm in the same business in a city where they say 'were not affected by the slowdown'....tell ya right now that ain't true. To top that off I am being micromanaged by an out of work advertiser with a limited budget!! He has changed every single detail of this project.

ive actually talked to my dad about this truck and saw what it sold for on the bay, i would love to have the truck but alas my wife has me by the *you know what* and i cant get the money out lol..whenever it sells and whoever buys it will have a true piece of American truck history

You might not have had enough good clear close up photos, which people like to see when buying sight unseen on Ebay. It has many options that would have been unheard of just a few years earlier. Interesting, the SPID does not show the 4.11 ratio option, I assume it has the low 4.57 gear ratio?

I was close enough and almost saw it in person last spring.Even let loose of N.O.S. CustomCamper badges for it because it`s such a great truck.A couple years back,I would have been offering good money w/o a for sale sign.I luvs me some loaded rare trucks.

Believe me I have been looking real hard since I saw it on Craigs list, I live just South of you across the border. I just have no time for another one right now.

Thank you all for your responses,i just didn't think the economy was that bad!i thought that i would be turning somebody on to a really nice truck CHEAP.I just don't think i will ever be able to give it the attention it needs.I have 2 other Projects in front of it,not to mention children,wife and all the other things that have to be done.
And yes the truck does have the 4.65 gear ratio.I am quite surprised that it was not ordered with the tru-trac.
