what do you think I should do???
My '75 short stepper ahs 56" rear springs and sits higher in the rear than the front. It also has new 32x11.50x15 BFG ATs with aluminum slots. My question is should I "pre-runner" it or should I remove a couple of the "extra" springs and lower it?
I called FABTECH about their 88-98 lift spindles and they said they WILL NOT work,dont know how true that is,but what ever. If I lower it,should I get ralleys 6" fronts,8" rears or shouldl I keep the slots? Thanks for YOUR opinion. -Lance This is an OLD pic it looks MUCH better now.

I would say polish and keep the slots, either way you go.

Keep the slots and lower it. Never did understand a lifted two wheel drive.

I agree w/ jonboy, polish the wheels up but keep the stance you have. I personally like a lowere front than rear, I also lie the pre-runner look, but that's my opinion. Nice truck always love those short steppers.

well my nieghbor has a 1980 shortbed fleetside that I am buying for $300. I am going to be using the bed and engine/trans. Ihave decided to get rid of the off road tires and put 275-60s on the rear and the same height 70/75 series on the front. I just need to find some 15x7 front slots. I have 8.5s all the way around. Thanks for all the input.

I would keep the 8.5 slots, polish them to a shine, and put BFGoodrich Radial T/A 275/60/15 tires on all four corners. Take a leaf or two out of the rear springs to level it out, and call it good.
