Trying to do some math and I cannot figure out which rear-end gear I have. any ideas.

P,S, its a 12 bolt and a 1965 C-10 rear-end

I haven't located the tag on my rear end as of yet, but I was told by somebody I might have a 3.73 rear end on mine, but until I find it, its all guess work.

95% of them seem to be 3.73's

man, it seems like mine is a 4:11, It may have a 3:73, can't you turn the drivesahft and count how many times the wheel turns?

You can pull the cover and change the fluid. When you do that the R&P numbers will be stamped in the ring gear. Divide the little number into the big number and it will tell you the ratio.
