I have never found any spray paint that will stay on an exhaust manifold regardless of what it said on the can. Eastwood makes some gray paste stuff that is supposed to work but it even says that you have to touch it up.

Has anyone used the por-20 exhaust manifold paint? It is supposed to be good up to 1500 degrees. I have it on mine, but I have not made fire with it yet.

I haven't tried it yet, just for fun I put some Harley Davidson wrinkle paint that I had left over on mine. I had run it for years on the cylinders on my Harley. This stuff is tuff and is a pain in the butt the get off,but it lasted for about two days on freshly sandblasted manifolds.

I used VHT exhaust manifold paint on a set of manifolds on a Dodge 318 and drove it 150,000 miles. It discolored a little over the years, but never burned off or allowed them to rust. You would want to break it in outside the garage, cuz it stinks pretty bad when it bakes in the first time, but I was happy with the stuff.
