Stock Engine 350 buildable.
I have this engine removed from my 72 Cheyenne #3970010 on the block. I believe it to be a 4 bolt main, but haven't removed the pan yet so dont hold me to it. I did get this one to fire up. It didnt knock, but didnt run good either. I am selling it as a buildable. Carb not included. $150
Also I have another 350 out of a 72 same #3970010 short block. $100. |

Here is a small derail and a TTT for you. What color is your truck and do you have an extra pic of it laying around. Looks like a great deal for a buildable core.

It skipped & just didn't run smooth. I think carb problems also contributed to it though. Here is a pic

Re: Stock Engine 350 buildable.
On the first post for the 350 for $150, what all is included?
Also same on the short block. Is it block ONLY or crank, cam etc? How long would you hold if after payment? I am a truck driver and can arrange to get there to pick it up. BUT! If not able to will you be willing to ship? I had a block shipped for a boat from NJ to okc with a freight service and was around 100-150.. was last year so cant remember. But kinda want to save on shipping.. I want a 350 to build because what I have read is that the 307 that is in mine is limited on hp you can pull from it.. so.. but rather have a 350 anyway.. How much you think the stuff will weigh? total? 150lbs? Thanks

Re: Stock Engine 350 buildable.
The long block is complete from oil pan to valve covers, just no carb. it still has the starter on it. The short block doesn't have heads or intake, but does have crank, cam, oil pan. I'm not realy interested in shipping these. I am sure that they weigh more than 150lbs.

Me, I drive a big truck and get paid to.. I will come there and get it... but not many people are willing to drive around 1000 miles just to get it.. Your really limiting your customers by not shipping.. Im just saying, I sold a few vehicles online.. I live in okc.. if I would of just listed locally It would of never sold.... I listed them on ebay and all 3 of them I listed have sold OUTSIDE of the UNITED STATES. Someone from Australia bought one and around the Germany area the other 2 were bought.. all I had to do was drive one 8 miles to the dealers auction to be loaded on a truck. Dam that was long.. sorry.. Just saying don't limit your customer base for something that don't take much effort.. Pallet (FREE) those bands for tiedown few $$$, wrap.. few $$.. Just add a $20 handling fee or something.. just don't rule out shipping.. SORRY didn't mean to ramble.. Just don't get it.. Question.. Can a 18 wheeler... 72' truck/trailer get in your area or you willing to take to a truck stop nearby or meet to put on my truck? If I can't get it, If someone is interested I would even be willing to go pick it up and bring back from Alanta area.. to OKC in a line or around.. for about half of what freight would cost.. ...... Thanks..

Re: Stock Engine 350 buildable.
I could meet you at the local truck stop. I know that I need to get more comfortable with the shipping freight. Any idea when you would be able to come?
