Re: bad accident
The cab appears to be in decent shape, I hope the driver was OK.
What do you mean by this? Do you have a link to the story?

Can you imagine what the driver thought when it came to a rest and the view he had!

Re: bad accident
I think drag racing warrants the gas tank moved to the rear.Otherwise,it`s fine were it is.Don`t see too many cabs flying off in normal street driving.I`ve seen none.
I can imagine the driver may have been a bit disoriented when he came to a stop.I think he was just looking at the hood.A look behing would have been a big "WTF"

First Gen S-10. Looked like it *was* a pretty quick little truck.

Re: bad accident
Pretty quick, but, not much safety thought process. No driveshaft loop, I can't see any traction devices. I'm sure hoping it was a learning experience for the owner and/or driver.

Re: bad accident
I don`t think that cab was mounted properly. That never should have happened unless the floor was so rusted around the mounts all for corners ripped through. But the mounts aren`t in the frame.Even with rotted rubber the steel washers would have stopped it from pulling through.I don`t think they were on there.I can`t imagine anyone would do that, though.Definately can`t imagine why.
