402 big block taken out of a 1970 1/2 ton Suburban. Here's the deal: It was running when I got it, but had a knock in it. I tore it down and #3 rod bearing spun and scarred up the crank pretty bad. I took it to a machine shop and had the following work done : heads reworked, block checked and left on standard bore (very small ring groove), new cam bearings and freeze plugs installed. I bought a used STEEL crank and had it turned .010/.010. I also have good used cam, lifters, timing chain. It just needs rings and bearings and put back together. Includes intake and distributor. No pulleys, brackets, or carb. $800. I can get pics if needed.

Here's some pictures : Suffix code TBH. Date code Feb 8, 1970. Cast # 3969854. Not pictured, but I have pistons, rods and valve covers.
