Well its mine, called the guy after work and went and looked at it. It’s a base truck with no A/C. The body is real straight, the cab is rust free as far as I can tell and it looks to be the original paint. The bed has very small rust spots behind each of the rear wheels. The inside of the bed is dent and rust free. Other than the small rust spots the bed is in great shape. It also has a nice diamond plate tool box. There are some deep scratches on the passenger door but not down to bare metal. The left front fender will need to be replaced along with the trim piece for that fender. It does have power steering and brakes. The engine looks to be a 6 cylinder 292. The valve cover is off and the head looks clean. I didn’t take a full inventory but it looks like all the new parts are there to rebuild the engine including a new cam shaft. The interior is sparse, the bench set will need to be recovered and the door panels have been dyed and it’s starting to peel but overall the interior is in good shape. Tiers have good thread and don’t look to be dry rotted. The rally wheels are complete and the trim rings look good. He is going to deliver it to me Sunday afternoon and when it gets here I will snap some pictures and post them. Now I need to make an appointment with a therapist and do something about my compulsive truck buying. I really don’t need this truck and have more projects than time and this one may end up in the for sale section. I have not told my wife about the truck and when I do it may make for a cold quiet weekend. Anybody go a blanket and pillow I can use because I may be sleeping in it for awhile.

Thanks for the offer but I have ample parts just no time to work on my projects. I'm in the process of doing repairs on the house I'm living in and my rental house. I need to get them both ready to be put on the market. I just purchased 8 acres and wifey wants to build a house and I am going to build me either a 60X60 or 60 X40 garage with a two post lift. I have a week off coming up and I plan to play with my toys all week and starting a formal build and introduction thread soon. With that said I think I will practice pic posting. Here are my toys.


This one is a 350 with a 3 speed on the floor. This one will be used for parts. (title problem)


This one is a 350/350 auto combo. This is my weekend driver. I use it to haul trash to the dump and move stuff for wifey.


This is one I picked up off of Craigs list about a month ago. Its a 305/350 combo. It runs but has a major trans leak.


This one is my long term project. Its 235 six with three on the tree. I take it out for a spin every now and then. Its in the garage and wifey has decided it makes a good storage unit for the stuff she been packing up for the pending house sale.



I also have a Z28 Camaro lt1/700R4 doaner. Picked it up from a local tow yard for 100 bucks. The guy decided to try to out run the police and they lost. Police hit it in the side and took it out. The driveline is perfect but the body is toast. This is going in the 69 with a 5 speed. My tree rats just love to set up house in it. Had a kitten come out the door speaker one time and scare the sh** out of me while I was moving it .

Well thats cool, glad you got it...The seller should give me comission lol. if you decide to sell it in the near future.. your only like 45mins away from me I may get it from ya...kinda broke right now...been out on workmans comp since the middle of july... Anywho interested in selling the hood off of your parts truck or even maybe the whole thing? title problems dont bother me...I got a drawer full of vin tags and titles... lol

AHHHHH HAHA.......I opened the trunk on my 53 chevy once and down hung a rattle snake... I did about 15 back flips and scrambled away....cought my legs on a old trailer tung that was behind it and fell on my ass..

Wow that looks like a great project truck. You defiantly have some nice trucks too. I wish we had more room here for another project. But like a lot of you guys I have more projects and little time and money.

I'll sell you the whole truck minus the engine and trans or just the hood after I remove the engine. Just let me know when your ready. I have the title but its in the name of the person who had it before the person I got it from. He gave me a SC bill of sale from him to me and I had done this once before with a motorcycle but this time the DMV said no dice Guy I got it from would need to transfer it to his name then transfer it to me. This way DMV collects double $$$. Tried to get back in touch with the guy I got it from but he had been transfered overseas and they would not give me any contact information.

Well the truck is on my land but I forgot to take the camera so pictures will be Tuesday.

Going to start a new thread and ask for opinions on which truck to keep the 86 or the 82, the other is going bye bye or be used for patrs.
