Do you have an application or a part number?

I have used "factory replacement" parts. The application will be determined by the spindles one's running. The lower ball joints for the 1/2 ton from 63-87 have the same diameter sleeve and will press into the Strong Arms. I do know there is a "problem solver" ball joint offered by Moog that is a tiny bit larger in diameter, made to press into worn factory arms.... those would not be necesary for the Strong Arms. I can always get you a carquest part number if necessary.

Do you know if the stock 1/2 ton 63-87 will fit Western Chassis dropped spindles?

I didn't realize the ART arms took the same OEM ball joint as the stock arms. Thanks.

I believe the lower 1/2 ton ball joints will either be 63-70, 71-72, or 73-87. What year spindles/truck are you working with?

Lolife is correct, the ball joint taper differs between the model years 63-70; 71-72; and 73-87.

Not only are the balljont factory replacements on the ART arms, so are the bushings (all Strong Arm bushings are the 73-87 rubber style). The Strong Arms are a great product and well designed.

Why not give them a call?

Right on their home page ... I would guess they would know exactly what you need.

The truck is a 63, as for the spindles i think they are 2006's?

Sounds like Jon may have answered your questions, but the 2006 spindles will not be compatible with the C-10 suspension/steering components. You might be able to make them fit somehow, but the spindle's geometry is not the same.
