Help me make a decision

Funds are low and I want to continue working on my 69 k10 that I've had for 5 years, so I put my other toy up for sale (see pic). I now have a buyer and am allready wondering if it is a mistake. I know it's only a truck but I've had it longer than my wife , and she say's don't sell it. If I seel it I will proably have enough to get the 69 on the road, but not finished. Any way I was just looking to see what you guys think.

Re: Help me make a decision

Well what do you use the Toyota for? How much are you selling it for?

I would sell it if it was me.

Re: Help me make a decision

I understand the attachment to a vehicle you've had a long time (been there!) -- but if you're not using it, and not likely to in the future, I would seriously consider selling. No insult to the Toy, they are tough as nails and have a fanatical following.

Sorta like some other trucks I can think of...

Well it's gone. I just watched it drive away a few minutes ago. I'm already looking forward to buying more parts for the k10.

And the word "regret" is nowhere in your post.

Now you better hope your wife doesn't make you regret it!!

Oh man I know exactly how you feel. I always think if its been sitting for awhile and probably going to be for a lot longer might as well sell it and let somebody else enjoy unless you can make it work to keep both. You better get started on the K10 now!

Re: Help me make a decision

you made the right choice... I would rather sell the unused "toy" and put that towards a toy that will get used.

Re: Help me make a decision

It'll be hard to 'wheel a '69 K10 when you have it dressed out, --- but if its any consolation, if you ever get the itch to get dirty again , 2nd Gen Blazers can be had dirt cheap now (i feel like i can't give mine away)

Re: Help me make a decision

Yep Marlin got alot of my money over a few years, but it was worth it. I'm actualy surprised that I don't regret selling it, and I stopped by the local bone yard today to look for a few things but no luck
