dash lights question

the light in my instrument panel are not very bright at all. infact some of them dont work at all, like the oil pressure light is very dull, but the speedometer and gas gauge are brighter. would this be a burnt out bulb? any suggestions?

Take em out and wipe them off, could be 35 years of dust...

Re: dash lights question

well there isnt actually a light right beside your oil pressure gauge there is one on both sides of your fuel gauge and both sides of your speedometer im guessin the one on the right side of your fuel gauge is out. You can reach up behind the cluster and they kind of twist out. It is a plastic holder for the light bulb you will twist out

Re: dash lights question

I would just replace them all.... it's only 4 194 bulbs, or you can get brighter 168 bulbs.
But don't expect a huge increase. The inside of the inst panel is painted a gay green hue and it doesn't reflect the light very well.
