My New Truck!!!

I just bought it last week. It is an 84 chevy silverado c10 shortbed. No rust whatsoever. Extremely straight body. Original 305 v8, just passed california smog two weeks ago. pw, pl, power steering, power brakes, cruise, a/c, tilt, ect...New carpet, brand new headliner. Bed is in great shape. all of the guages work and all warning lights. New tires. Has dropped leaf springs in the rear so im guessing it has about a 4 inch drop in back. stock fornt suspension. Underneath, the truck looks brand new. btw, odometer is working great and it is showing 24000 miles, which at first i didnt believe but after driving it for a week and checking it out, i believe it. Wiring is also untouched and looks unbelievable under the dash.

plans- drop spindles and 1 inch springs up front. most likely a billet grill, new dash pad, clean up the engine and some 20's in the rear and 18's up front, not sure of make though. Oh yea, i bought it for 2750, tell me what you think. can someone also lower the front with the side picture i posted. thanks for looking!!

Re: My New Truck!!!

Nice truck . Looks like you got a good buy . The drop leafs are $300 alone . I just ordered some . I am also going with 1 inch coils and spindles in the front .

Re: My New Truck!!!

Nice truck. Seems like a good deal for 2700.00. I would think it has 124000 on it, because of the pics of the interior. Still a nice truck. Good luck with it.

Re: My New Truck!!!

It would have the 700 r4 trans if it is the overdrive . The locking diff is the Govloc rear . It is a locking differential . They went to that after the clutch type posi. It will lock both wheels like a posi but it isnt as strong as the old posi's . I dont know about the Sequoia special .

Re: My New Truck!!!

Nice truck! You west coast guys have no idea how lucky you are to still have rust free chevy's! If only I were so lucky out here in New England. My 87 looks like a 47 compared to the body on your 84.
