how are you routing your transmission lines.

I'm thinking of re-doing my transmission lines and would like some ideas. Are most of you using the stock hanger on the engine oil pan?
What is the best way to do this? Make your own or buy them pre-bent?

I should have guessed that one.
How did you do the connections? The hose has a crimp to adapt it to the metal lines?

Re: how are you routing your transmission lines.

Advance auto carries a kit to us 5/16 trans cooler hose. The kit has all the hose fittings w/ barbed ends w/ the correct flare fitting. I was thinking about going this route if I cant find any factory steel lines.

I'm willing to check it out, but what what is the sister company's name? We have Checker, Autozone, pep-boys, Carquest, Napa.

Re: how are you routing your transmission lines.

I have checked Autozone and they dont have it here. We dont have those other stores close by.If any of them have a section w/ trans coolers and related parts then they will probably have them. I think the brand is either Imperial or Hayden.
