Mine is an 84 and weighs 3900. So yours should be close to there.

Ryan, or anyone.

Do you know how much the entire A/C unit, condenser, pump, hoses, etc... will wiegh down the truck?

My a/c setup looks very similar to some i've seen on full size trucks, so i'm sure it is the same.

Anyone know?

When I went to the dump a while back getting rid of stuff they weighed mine in and out. Looks like close to 5000 on mine.

I had two of my trucks weighed pretty accurately a while back for a military move.

My 84 K10 short wide was 4400
and my 86 C10 long bed was 4300
both with me out, 1/4 tank on one tank, other empty.

Both are silverado trucks with A/C

How can it be that 2 feet worth of bed and frame (on the long bed) weigh as much as a front axle and transfer case and driveshaft etc? Ida thought it would be much different...

I dunno, that's just how it worked out. One other thing, the 86 C10 Longbed had a spare tire under the bed. The K10 had it taken out (it normally rides IN the bed.)

Thumbs up NEED TO GO ON A DIET!?!!

Mines just over 7200# empty! With a 454 , the MPG sucks but it pretty much does anything I need it to!

I just posted "over" here for the 1st time.... been on the 67-72 side and thought Id see "whazzup" in the 73-87 stuff. Quite a few posts! Will probably be back!
