WTB: Auto Steering column
Folks I need a good working auto steering column, it doesn't have to be a tilt. The column that is in the truck now isn't a tilt. I'm haveing problems with the one in my truck thought I might beable to buy one and rebuild it rather then take down my DD until I get it finished. no junk please i have one of those in my truck now.
Let me know what you got and how much and shipping to 40118. THANKS... |

Re: WTB: Auto Steering column
OK I understand that people get busy. Life happens, It's Friday morning and I was wondering if the Column shipped yet. I've pm'd and e-mailed. Haven't heard since your pm indicating it would ship this week.
Thanks.. |

Re: WTB: Auto Steering column
Thanks Randy, I'm heading down to Hucks place tommrrow he too has a couple for me to take a look at. So I think I'm set.
Let me throw a question out there. I have a 68 with original column in it. Which is a solid shaft, my truck has a th350 trans in it. The column in the truck is a PG column. The problem that I'm having is the the spring that pushes the lever up into the park and drive slots on the column is froze up. Huck said that he has 67-68 column and a couple 69-72 columns as well. Would conversion to a later model column be worth the change over. I mean aside from the safety aspect. I believe that the later model column is actually for a th350 isn't it. Offer me your thoughts.... thanks. |
