Will 33-12.5-15 tires fit ok?
Hi guys...just put 31-10.5-15 tires on my 70 Chevy CST-10 a few months ago...but just spotted some 33-12.5-15's for sale locally. I like the big tire look....Anybody have first hand experience with this size tire on their 67-72 Chevy trucks? Will clearances be ok? All my suspension is bone stock...have plenty of clearance now with 31-10.5-15's Thanks, Bob

I have the 33-12.50 but have 16.5 wheels, and they do rub when I crank the steering. I have stock springs, but I had them rearched years ago.
Personally, I am looking for something narrower after these things are done.

My 1/2 ton 4x4 has 33x12.50x15's on it. It has a 2-1/2" chassis lift but it might give you some idea on fit. LockDoc

This is Krue's truck a few years ago when he had 33's on his just because they came with the ralleys he bought. They were filling things out, but I do not remember him complaining much about them rubbing a lot.

I guess it's because I have manual steering, that I rub on the steering equipment with my 33-12.5-16.5's?
Maybe a different story with power steering gear?

I am running 31X10.5x15s also. If I could afford new tires, they would be 33s.
Here is a link to another thread. Look a post #6. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=265850
