67-68 side mirror locations?

I bought some new mirrors from LMC. They did not come with any measurements for the location. Does anybody know how/what the measurements are for the location? The mirrors that are on my truck now are pointless. The PO put generic mirrors on and you can't even see the one on the passenger side from the drivers seat. It looks like these new ones will cover the old holes, but I want them to be in the correct location. These are the round side mirrors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried doing a search but came up empty.

Rick

One more thing. Is there a mounting plate that goes on the inside of the door for the screws to attach to?

If not, check at the bottom of the door. You may luck out and find your original layin in there! If not, I think the resto shops sell em.

Yes there is. I know the truck shop sells them. I'm sure others have them as well.
