I'm running the 600 CFM Edelbrock Performer (AFB) 1406, there about as simple as it gets.

Re: guys i need your help on this

In my opinion, you won't find a better carb out of the box than the Edelbrock 1406, at least in terms of a daily driver/mild performance engines. Plus they are reasonably priced.

Q-jet. Snappy throttle response at all rpm ranges.

I second 68step. What engine is it going to run?

I run a BG road demon. Great carb for the money. I love the q-jet too....and the Edelbrock for that matter. I think it is a matter of preference. They all have their strong points.

I'm running a Quadrajet here, but have had good luck in the past with an Edelbrock Performer.

Street Avenger 670 here, love it.

But all of the above advice is good too.
